Blog #9

The break was very good for me and my family we decided to take a tour of apartments in Indy. We started on the east side of the city and ended up on the north side of downtown Indy. The tour of the apartments was fine for me (I have owned two homes and rented one apartment) but the fun I had was watching my two cousins picking and choosing which apartments they could see themselves living in. Both of them want a two bedrooms, however, when we came to looking at townhouses, one of them said that it was too much house for her to clean and the other said for this price why not look at homes with an option to buy. Overall it was a very good experience, and I have no regrets about moving to Indy in the fall to finish up on my degree.

I totally enjoyed class today and I can’t wait until we start to create the pod and screencast. I really can see how this technology can add little more appeal to the wiki project. One of my concerns is coming up with a good script and being able to record something that would appeal to the larger audience.

Have you ever gone on virtual tours of apartments or homes? Another way to shop for a place to live.

I'm glad you enjoyed last class. I worried about a little, sitting there all alone. The script of outline really is the key to a good podcast or screencast. Trying to work without one I quickly become aware that it is not a shortcut as I have to record it over again.

I am probably weird, but I love apartment hunting. I'm on my 3rd one since I moved to Indy, and even though I'm perfectly happy where I am now, I still browse craigslist.org a few times a week just to see what's out there. It's kind of an addiction.
