This was an interesting week for me why? I got in a fight with my Cannon MP530 printer and I let it beat me up. I spent over 2hours trying to get the printer to recognize that of the four printer cartridges only one color, cyan, was the only color that was out. However, the yellow tank started to blink and I couldn’t get it to recognize that it was full. This is not the first time this has happened. I seem to experience printer issues when I really, really need to print something to proofread. Note, by all appearances I am really patient and I love a challenge but come on, this is such a problematic printer that I really should just drop it out the window. What is really frustrating is that I don’t use the color because the ink by itself is ridiculously pricey so I live with black and white copies and I like it.
Ok I will have to admit my true feelings for using Audacity and creating podcasts. I have been having a blast with this technology. When I am recording myself I have to remind myself that “silly girl, they can’t see you so stop with the shaking voice”. Also I hear a combination of my mother and my older sister in my voice which is actually kind of weird. Anyway, I can’t wait to get a working script put together for this project. This actually made up for the fact that I was actually having printer issues this week. I haven’t turned on the printer since Monday --

I'm glad that you are enjoying the podcasting, Marcella. The thing about your mother's and sister's voice made me laugh. I'll never forget when a Tucson friend met my brother for the first time and said that she would have made the connection even if she hadn't known who he was. Apparently our vocal patterns and hand gestures are almost identical!
