I really can’t believe we are approaching the end of this semester. This semester blew by so fast that it is almost like a blur. I feel as though I have learned so much that I need to catch my breath to appreciate this new found knowledge.
I have realized a lot of things, for example keeping a blog is not as bad as I thought. There were weeks in which I thought I had to nothing write on my blog. However, when I read my classmates blogs, I became inspired and remembered something that occurred to me that I forgot. So with that said – thank you class for sharing your thoughts, and experiences!!!
I really enjoyed the presentations of all the wiki that were created by our class. It really just reaffirms to me that I have a lot to learn. In my previous blog I stated that I wanted to be more proficient in several areas and become more of an accomplished user when it pertains to a lot of the Web 2.0 applications that we used this semester.
Overall, I learned a lot and I do appreciate the challenges of this class.

- I am a SLIS student and I enjoy the possibility of being a librarian. As of today, I have not decided on which area of librarianship to concentrate on. I am teetering between Government Documents or Information Broker. In the meantime, my goal is to retain my sanity and not bake too much by the end of this semester. As of 1/16/08 I have already baked a batch of brownies and I am contemplating baking a friend cookies.

I hope that one thing this class reinforces is the idea that students can learn from one another as much, if not more, than they can learn from a professor. I am a big believer in the power of collaboration.
